Whatever became of FPower.co.uk?

Post by The Caterham Owner » Mon Jan 28, 2008 9:03 pm

Was just having a quick browse the other night and noticed Phil B's "FPower" site has been closed down (and I mean properly removed, not just met the end of the lease on the domain name) and he's not obvious as being registered on the new F Register forum.
What happened? (or is it not for public consumption?) :?

Sadly due to other committements, Phil decided to close down the FPower site at the end of last year.

The site will be missed but Phil is still around and is now just enjoying his F.

Instead of being an area rep organising events etc, it is his turn now just enjoy the pleasure of the car.

Phil stood down from the position of Rep some time ago (he's on here as Phil_B still)

Yup, still around and top down :thumbsu: although not for too long as the F will be swapped for a ZT pretty soon I think.

I closed the Fpower site for a variety of reasons but mainly work commitments and the fact that there are plenty of other F related sites and Forums. Pete Vickerstaff has grabbed the How To section so they are not lost, and the images out of the gallery will hopefully be uploaded onto this site pretty soon.

I'm glad that the site was of use to people over it's life and hope that the bits that are being transfered to other sites will continue to be useful for some time to come.

I'm now registered on here (obviously) so hope to catch up with you all either virtually or in real life soon.

Cheers

Phil
