Any suggestions for a Scottish newbie.
I'll be after some one to service my F in due course. Currently the car is looked after by Techspeed, but Leamington Spa is a very long way from North Ayrshire... Any suggestions ?

Morrisons in Stirling ?
Have you got a new number plate ?
I'm sure that number should be on a silver car in the West Country !

I haven't replied because I don't know of any garages close to you that I could recommend. Any that you do find, I doubt will come close to Techspeed. Morrisons in Stirling is a bit far.

Hi,
Maybe try the Dreadnought in Callander. A bit further on than Morrisons, but who I am using.

Re: Servicing in Scotland
I've used Morrisons and the Dreadnought in the past and they were fine. I also used to take my car down to Mike Satur which isn't exactly round the corner, but I'm currently using a local one man band garage and I find him good. The problem with big garages is that you rarely get to talk to the guy working on your car and you're never sure who is actually doing the work. When you go to someone local he depends on you to spread the good word and you get to discuss any problems with the guy that's actually had a spanner on the engine. If I were you I'd ask around and take it to someone local.
