Plea for help

Post by Steve White » Mon May 02, 2011 1:24 pm

Know its a long shot, but has anyone in the vacinity of Killin (Perthshire) have a spare coil pack for a TF or ZR sat in thier garage? doesn't matter if it new or used so long as it works.

We were on a tour of Scotland en route to the highlander when yesterday Al's TF160 suffered a coil pack failure just outside of Glencoe. We are now stuck in the middle of nowhere in a Hotel 3-4 miles outside of Glencoe and the car has been recovered to a garage in Killin, who can't get a new coil pack untill sometime tomorrow at the earlest :?

Glencoe is a nice place to be stuck, but a driving holiday without a car isn't great, so we are trying to find a way to get the car back on the road ASAP so we dont have to miss out on too much of the trip.

If anyone can help salvage our holiday you can get me on 07795 820432

Many thanks

Steve

PS. Dreadnaught are closed until tomorrow, have already explored that option :(

What a pain for you both :thumbsd:

Bank holidays are great but everything tends to close down which does not help for break downs etc

Hope you get back on the road real soon.

Sorry to hear about your problems. Our ZS180 is sat at the "car hospital" with exactly the same problem (unfortunately our local garage has been closed all week, so waiting for the mechanics to be back in work tomorrow). Hope it gets repaired soon. Glencoe is very nice ~ we'll be there in a month :)
