Thursday 18th Dolphin, Hursley

Post by Charless » Sat Oct 13, 2012 10:47 am

Kjeld Andersen is passing this way on Thursday and staying the night en route home to Denmark from his F's annual Tech Speed service. I thought an early beers (6:30ish) to maybe meet some SCRRs and perhaps a drive-by view of Winchester Catherdral if anyone else is around?
You won't get to see his immaculate and well set up solar red F though, as I thought I would drive him in my BRG - something of a rude contrast!

I think I may be able to manage this. I will confirm closer to the day, but
right now there's no reason why not.

Can make 6.30 at the Dolphin, but will have to give the sightseeing trip to Winchester the miss.

Oh Bob ! You mean you would forgo the opportunity to roar through the medieval streets of Winchester with those shiny new Scorpion pipes ?

Never done it, Bob - but I'm sure it's possible, once the population has been cleared out - by plague or whatever.......

I think we should eat. Madoz will be coming straight from work, as will the Sparkies - if they make it - so Charlie and Kjeld can go off on their wild crawl of the spotlit delights of Winchester, and we can tuck-in like sensible grown-ups.

I owe Madoz a dinner, so that takes care of that !

Well where there's food you'll generally find me so I may pop along and join you - if I can get a pass!

Bum! Just realised SWMBO has a standing Thursday night engagement so probably I won't be able to join you tonight, especially as I have already got a pass to go bowling with the SEF lot next Thursday! - roll on Tues 30th!
