Thursady 13th Feb 2014
Hi all
Just to keep everyone updated I spoke to Maggie at the Bucks Head earlier this week and they have still got some flooding downstairs, the builders are in and have made a start, they are hoping to be up and running again for April, I have assured her that we will be back as soon as they are up and running again.
With that in mind Pete suggested the Bakers Arms in Droxford, as it is not that far away from the Bucks Head it makes sense, mileage should not be to different for everyone. The link for the pub is below.
I have booked a table for ten people at 7.00pm I just need to ring them and confirm numbers a couple of days before, so if you can let me know by Tuesday that would be great.

We can then perhaps discuss where to go for our March meet. Hopefully by then the weather will have made an improvement.

Re: Thursady 13th Feb 2014
I keep missing all these meets by involuntarily being elsewhere.
Hopefully I will be around for this one as I can hardly remember what you all look like, let you know next week....
How about The Bear and Ragged Staff for March? We haven't been there for years, it might encourage our Wilts/Dorset members and was the original SCRR meeting point. (Curgs heroically used to come up from Somerset!)
Did anyone go to the Dolphin on 28th of last month?

Sorry will have to give this one a miss as I will still be in hospital recovering from my back op. Not sure when I will be given the all clear to drive again but doubtful I will make the Dolphin on the 25th either.
Will go along with the majority for the March meet, but like Charles would prefer the Bear & Ragged Staff if the Bucks Head is still out of action.

Have just checked with the Baker's Arms - good news! - they still do their 'Baker's Dozen' in the evenings which is two courses and a drink for £13.
See you there
Pete & Julie
P.S. Here's wishing you all the best for tomorrow Bob

Peter's choice for the pub was very successful and The Baker's Dozen menu gave us excellent value for money.
Looking forward to The Bear and Ragged Staff, next month.
