Post by TonyHill » Fri Dec 02, 2016 8:34 pm

Hi just joined the forum and want to take a look at some cars and talk to some owners before I buy one.I love the look of them and just want a fun car to use while I finish my old car project.Been down near Southampton for 8 weeks now so still got to make new contacts.Cheers from Tony.

Hi and welcome to the forum Tony

Any ideas of what you are after?

i.e. fully up and running or needing a bit of work.

Hydragas or regular suspension.

Runaround, touring or trackdays?

Hi James,

I would like one that's up and running that has had the cylinder head gasket problems done.I have read a few articles and this seems to be their week point anything else I should look for?As for your other points a nice quick runaround that I can enjoy and as for suspension which is best?I have had 2 Allegro cars with hydra gas and I enjoyed them both.

Cheers Tony.

Hydragas gives a smoother ride.
Springs give a sportier ride.
So it depends what sort of driving you expect to do.
