September video CONVEYOR BELT COMPETITION night | Thursday 10th September 7:00pm

As agreed at our last Zoom meeting we will be holding an entertaining conveyor belt competition when we meet on Zoom at 7:00pm on Thursday 10th September.

Inspired by the old conveyor belt challenge on the Generation Game of the 1970s, participants will be shown a variety of items on a conveyor belt, possibly including a teasmade and a cuddly toy.

The winner will be the participant who can remember the most number of items which were on the conveyor belt. Expect some fun and laughter along the way !

Please have a pen and paper to hand to write down the items you can remember. Strictly no cheating will be permitted.

Thank you to all who took part in tonight's very exciting conveyor belt competition. It was as ever a fiercely competitive event, in which one competitor even resorted to cheating (not for the first time), and had to be disqualified, but that's all part of the fun.

The scores at the end of the night were as follows;

13 points Team Cole (plus an extra point for remembering to attend this evening ! )

12 points to John W

11 points to Team Morgan

10 points to Chris W

0 points to Mr T on the grounds of disqualification (Clue: You couldn't have written down 18 items when there were only 17 on the conveyor belt !!)

I therefore declare Team Cole the deserving winners of tonight's competition.

So, we now move on to our next game, which will be held in 3 weeks time on 1st October.
