Southwick Brewhouse Brewery Tour 28/02/10

Postby sparky135 » Fri Feb 05, 2010 2:07 pm

I have finally got the long awaited tour of the Southwick Brewhouse organised for Sunday 28th Feb 2010.

Intention is to meet up at 1100 at the Brewhouse. We will then have a tour of the premises before adjourning to the newly refurbished Golden Lion pub to bask in it's history and enjoy the cuisine.

I've made a provisional booking for 12 but that can be increased if the demand is there. I need to know numbers by close of play Wednesday 24th Feb so I can let the Brewery know.

Please append you names below. All welcome. :thumbsu:

For the sat-navvers out there the Brewery and Pub can be found at PO17 6EB.

More details of the Brewery can be found here.

Look forward to seeing you there. :thumbsu:

Please put us down for this one. Should be a good day out.

If the weather is fine, it will be a good excuse to remove the hardtop - after the worst of our winter weather has hopefully passed us by.

Just a reminder that I will need to let the brewery/pub know numbers on Wednesday so will have to finalise the list by then.

Looking like a good turn out so far.

Good to have you back, Pete.

Hope you had a good one despite the delays.

I have now closed the list with a total of 9 cars and 18 people attending.

I've spoken to both the Brewery and the Golden Lion pub. The brewery are expecting us for the tour at around 11:00 and the GL have us booked in for 1230 to give us time to have a good tour and a chat before the meal. Because there are so many of us we will be in the bar as opposed to the restaurant. They did say because there was so many of us they would send us a menu so we could pre-order our food to make things a bit easier on the day. I've not received the email yet so watch this space I'll publish menu details as soon as I have them.

For the Satnavers who aren't sure where it is the postcode is PO17 6EB and is just off the B2177.

Looking forward to this one.

See you all there. :thumbsu:

Thanks, Malcolm.

I've been looking at the weather forecast for the weekend and it don't look good. Still, shouldn't put us roughy toughy South Coasters off. :thumbsu:
