Hope it's warm enough for some ( if not all ) to eat outside in the garden. Sadly will have to miss this one,as will be in France for Le Mans Classic. I will certainly miss my usual " Pie of the day " at the Bucks Head. See you all soon.

Have a great time at Le Mans, Malcolm.

I will make it there one of these years.

Fingers crossed for that, Bob. The order has been placed and they did say they would try to get it done for next weekend but couldn't promise.

It's all going ahead though.

On that very subject, I've just this minute had an email informing me that the approval has just gone through and is going to the printers as we speak.

This is moving quite quickly now.

Well done, look forward to hearing from them, now looks good for the grand unveiling on the 8th (assuming all goes well).

We look forward to your unveiling speech Bob - will you be in full regalia for the occasion? Will there be a dress code on the night???

I think we should get a celebrity, like the "Raffle Queen" to perform the unveiling -
no dress code casual!! as usual, hopefully as many of the "contributors" as possible can make it.

We'll try to hobble along mate... Assuming the F's cam belt, pump & tensioner change tomorrow and then the Cotswold Caper weekend all go according to plan.
Yes I agree Bob, perhaps that certain someone like the young Miss Wilson, with her parents consent of course, should don her best summer hat, frock and lacey gloves and formally open and wave the flag for all us "Southerly Roadrunners"!

Gosh, will there be 'The Management' in ill-fitting DJs and sunglasses on the car park to 'keep order'?
If not in Italy I must see this!

I'm just confirming our attendance at the BH.

I've not heard anything about the banner for over a week now. I have been away for a while so haven't had much chance to chase it up but I'll get on to them this week to see where we are up to with it. Last I heard is was going for printing. That was around Thursday 24th June-ish. I'm hoping we are going to get it for Thursday. I'll keep you posted.

We expect to be there.

Unveilling by the raffle queen sounds an excellant idea. She has been very efficient in parting us from our money (in the nicest possible way). However the ceremony would be further enhanced by shortbread to go with the post meal coffees!!

Looking forward to the event

Alistair

Just paid for the banner so all being well we should have the grand unveilling this week.

I'm sure the Raffle Queen will be delighted to do the honors. I'm not sure about the shortbread though - she's a working girl now. Straight out of college into a job. I'll see if we can talk her into making some celebratory shortbread.
