I hope you don't miss out Whitby.

You will get the finest fish and chips in the world at the Magpie Cafe there.

Enjoy your F-ing holiday.

Ya it has gone very quite actually, but as said I'd say alot are on holidays, or maybe they're out making the most of the sunshine!!!! :-D
Gave the F a good polish yesterday, followed by a blast down some back roads. Came back and my car was covered in bugs that decided to play 'chicken' and lost!!!! They don't come off easy either :-(

It's nice to keep in touch !

That's what modern technology is for. I could be sitting on the summit
of Everest with me BlackBerry* and still be able to post. Amazing !

Did fish chips on the breakwater at Whitby yesterday but the hour long queue for Magpies seemed not worth it - we found a very good alternative supplier.
A long way from the Buck's Head and Dolphin!

You have to start queing when the boat comes in to get a seat !
But it's worth it.

The breakwater is one of my favourite places to just sit and ponder on the mysteries of the universe.
I need to go back - haven't been for a lot of years. :|

EDIT - Sunday - booked a couple of nights in Whitby in the first week of October.
The North Sea should be nicely heavy by then. Should be quite spectacular if the seasonal gales
are up to scratch.

Can't wait !!! :D

It's lonely in here.

I think I might light a campfire, get a pan of beans on the go and
start singing campfire songs.
The coyotes might join in, and we can watch the tumbleweed roll past.............

Ging gang goolie goolie goolie goolie watcha...........

Just got in. Flying visit only I'm afraid. Off up to Scotland tomorrow for the week and there have been a few changes to the plan while I have been away so not sure what the Internet situation is going to be while I'm up there. Keep things ticking over for me Ruth. :thumbsu:

Spotted Dick eh ?

Hi Sparkie ! The internet situation is - as you know - generally in a constant state of flux.

Specifically, it's bloody quiet in here so I'm trying to keep the morale and the aspidistra flying.

We will see you next Tuesday, I hope ?

RIGHT ! - Anyone for charades ? :sf:
