Bogoff, boss. It had a wash and brush-up on Wednesday.

Madoz - I have nothing against black cars. I just wondered - with you being an aussie and all - whether
you would be going for the national colours.
Looks like you're a crypto-kiwi instead. :sf:

Ahhh I see! TBH I'm probably more a brit now! Been over here for a long time and I've lost the accent.

I will probably be leaving Oxford around 7.30 ish

If all goes well I should be joining the M40 from the A34 round about then. :)

RIGHT ! - 15.53 hours Saturday - car filled up and ready to go.
Now I shall fill myself up with a good hearty bowl of homemade chicken pottage,
and then set the alarm for 04.00 hours Sunday.

MadOz - I think we just missed you at Warwick Northbound.
Caught a glimpse of something MG-ish and black just as we were leaving.
Sorry :|

Chris'n'John - great to see you guys, and I enjoyed watching you work. :D

Keef - lovely to meet you at last.

Nigels & Son - thank you so much for lunch and coffees. You sure know how to treat a girl...... ;)

PeterT - well - what can I say ? If you are going to use a commode like that again you are going
to have to practise sh****ng through the eye of a needle. Thai curry is good for that, I have heard.

Bob. Words fail me - except I think there was bromide or senna in that tea - went through me like a knife.
Hence the unscheduled stop not even half way back.

All in all - a Grand Day Out. :thumbsu:

Glad you had a good day out Ruth.

Great to see so many of the SCRR at Stoneleigh today. Hope you got all you wanted.

We came away with an empty wallet but very little of what we actually went for. But hey, what a great day.

Next stop - The Dolphin. See you on Tuesday. :thumbsu:

£25 for a second hand driver's side sun-shade thingy that was a TF one but
much bigger than an LE500 one and not the same as mine at all ?

I think not.

Those sun shade thingies are a right royal pain.

If it is in reasonable condition you shouldn't have too much trouble shifting it on.

I didn't buy it, Sparkyone - luckily it was 'cash only' and these days I pretty much always use a card.
.....doesn't everybody ?
Except when we're using the 'black economy', of course. Then it's wampum.

So I'm still looking for a nice black LE500 sun flap to stop me from going blind. :sf:

Sorry, Ruth. Misread your post. It's been a long day. I'm off to bed now to fall asleep to an episode of Life on Mars.

Btw what's the exchange rate from £s to wampums?

Wondered why I had to follow you Ruth all the way from the M40 to Didcot in third gear, thought you were low on fuel, nothing wrong with the tea, must have been your dodgy lunch at Stoneleigh. Good day out though - see some of you at the Dolphin tomorrow.
