Shaggy is purring again! New engine is in and connected up. Has had new clutch and brake pipe as well. Just gotta put a few things back together and then all sorted. Feels so good hearing that beautiful sound of my TT again!

Re: Disaster....
small world...
Stu: Guess you managed to get all the bits to fit...
All: I can confirm a sighting of vehicle earlier today proudly parked in prominent position in carpark - assuming of course he didn't drag it there with the LR!

Re: Disaster....
cheers chris! Yep, that was it, the car was being used this afternoon for some filming, so still not quite all back together, but enough for using it. Is that your green one that i keep seeing in the car park? If so, was it yours i put a south mids leaflet on the other day?!

Crimewatch have finally caught up with him. That guise about his car being broken was just trying to throw them off the scent... but alas it hasn't worked!ScubaStewart wrote:Yep, that was it, the car was being used this afternoon for some filming...

Re: Disaster....
Stu,
Not guilty! Most be another potential member. I have also seen another Abingdon (brown roof, Brooklands green, R plate) at a similar carpark a few times though.
Good luck with the recruiting and being a film star - busy man!
