I'm hoping to come along, but if it's chucking it down I probably won't (unless I can get the drivers door glass adjusted to actually seal on the roof!).
What time will everyone be planning on heading back?

Hi Nick,

I think people will just make their way home when they feel like it, so you're not tied to any particular time.

As for the leak problem, I've got some gaffer tape! :thumbsu: :?

Great to see that you are all coming down to Oxford. Just been over to the Lamb & Flag this evening for the MGOC meet, and confirmed everything with the landlady. The pub normally opens at 12:00 on a Sunday, but I have arranged for them to specially open for us at 11:30. No worries if you get there later than that, but I'll be the one at the bar with a pint as soon as the doors open! The food there is excellent, the carvery is extremely good value for money.

As they can get quite busy on a Sunday, they are going to give us the staff car park for us to put all of our MGs together. So, as you go in the car park, you'll see a gate on the left, and Kathryn's new MGF will be parked there waiting for you! Perhaps Rich can put the flag up when you all arrive!

It looks like we'll have some of the Oxford MGOC lot turning up, including Nick with his yellow MGZR (sorry Lee/Debs!) which is now sporting some very nice silver SMS stickers!!! Also, John King the organiser of the Cotswold Wildlife Park Grand Day Out should be along at some point, so we can all get an update on the plans for that event next year.

Finally, the landlady has asked that if quite a few of us are planning to eat, that we wait till the first sitting is over with, and then she could put us all together in the restaurant, otherwise, we'll just have to eat scattered about. I said that would be fine, as we'll probably have a couple of drinks and a natter first, but if anyone is going to be really hungry, then you'll just have to go for whatever table is free!

So, really looking forward to seeing you all, and hope you have a good run down here.

Oh, DaveD, is Rebecca coming along again this month?

Did you get the window sorted? I had an issue with my driver's window in that it cme back from the MOT with a bent winder mechanism :o :? Due to the time of year and the inclement weather I got it fixed by my cousin in Finedon. He runs an MG/car restoration business and general car repair business and had to re-align the window by two inches :o If you want me to put you in touch either mail or PM me.

Cheers

OK so I now may not be comming. I broke trhe zip on my window last night if I can get it repaired on saturday then I'll still be along on Sunday...

I was out testing my new Milltek  exhaust last night (hood down) and stopped at the pub, put the hood up in the carpark as it was 0 deg c and I didnt want an icy backside after my pint.... and snapped the slider bit of the zip.

I'm going to try and 'Heath Robinson' the two parts back together and see if I can get it working, I have emailed Sonia on .org for a spare.

Every weather report I've seen says it's going to rain on Sunday :x
