New South Midlands Rep.

Post by garytipping » Wed Sep 11, 2013 9:16 am

Hi All,

A quick post to say I'm the new rep. for the south midlands area and very keen to hear from anybody in the Milton Keynes, Northants, Bedford region.
I'm based in Buckingham so any thoughts on a possible venue for a pub meet in a central location would be very helpful.

Any suggestions (keep them polite at this stage) or thoughts on how we proceed with the area would be gratefully accepted. Please get in touch on south.midlands@mgfregister.org and perhaps we can get something going before the weather breaks completely.

I look forward to hearing from you. And I hope to be posting much more information soon!

Regards

Gary

Hi Gary, welcome as the new South Mids rep. :-)
I am in Rushden, Northants so would be interested in events in the region. I am a MGWW member as well and get involved with a lot of their meets.
Fairly new to the area, and being a non drinker not in a position to recommend any pubs. :-)
I commute to/from London everyday so evening meets might be difficult if they are too far from Northants.
Looking forward to seeing what comes about :-)

Best,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for your reply, I'll keep you informed of any developments. I thought I would give it a few days for, hopefully, a few more people to get in touch and then arrange a meet at a convenient location.

Keep an eye on the forum, more news soon.

New owner here - it's a Funday / Hiday car - so definitely up for an excuse to use it for a beer / meet of an evening. You can all tell me how much I over paid for her, whilst marvelling at how I manage to fit behind the wheel.

Hi Marty and Carolyn,

Thanks for getting in touch, getting a few people responding now so I'll get something going as soon as possible.

Would you prefer an evening or a week end meet?

Keep in touch

Regards

Gary

Evenings can be difficult for those that work, maybe a weekend one would be a good start :)
