Spoiler and Splitter

Oooh! Very smart! :thumbsu:

Now that's what I call the 'smart edge of the darkside'...

All you need now is a couple of nice SmS magnets to adorn the doors and it will look absolutely perfect! :? 8-)

Looking good Dave :thumbsu:

Spoilers are like tatoos and piercings - I would never have them myself, but I admire them on other people / cars  I am a big fan of the Trophy front bib though 8-) One day I will get round to fitting one. I am just not sure how long they would last on my car on the Fen roads - I would probably have to unlower it first  Were they a fleabay purchase?

Looks great, especially in silver... 8-)

Have you noticed the front's more stable at speed with that bib fitted?

I'm so tempted to get the boot spoiler as I've already got the bib fitted...

Thanks for your comments guys. Sorry for the delay in replying but the home computer is down and work have problems on internet access.

Jon, they were flebay purchases. The spoiler was a good fit but the splitter needed 1/8" taken off it to allow it to fit properly despite being advertised as a perfect fit :?

Nick, I couldn't believe how much difference there was on the steering after having it fitted, especially at high speed :D . And the rear spoiler makes a slight difference to traction when the roads are damp. Or is that just wishfull thinking?

Cheers

Max, that's what I always thought, until I got my suspension sorted. Now I've got a splitter too and our driveway isn't a problem... I've got at least 2mm clearance!

Just those damned speed humps... :?

I still don't think it will clear on my drive way! Virus (Mark) from .org has a Trophy and he tried to get on my drive and there was NO WAY he was getting on it without ripping off him splitter.

Tomorrow will be a last min decision as I'm not sure if I'm out tonight or not...wine or up early in the morning, decisions decisions!!!!! ;)

There's the clue Max... Mark's car is a Trophy so has a lower ride height. My bumber used to scratch the driveway, without the splitter. Believe me, there aren't many cars that don't bottom out there. Even my work van catches it's lip. But my F is at the correct height for a VVC and it's 'just enough' to clear it, providing there aren't two people in it! ;)

Go on, you can do it!

And wine isn't healthy... Fresh air is...

Rich.
