Debs & Hospital

Post by puds121 » Tue Oct 30, 2007 9:02 am

Hi All,

just to let you all know, Debs had her operation yesterday......was 'under the knife' for 3 and a half hours.....a bit longer than expected :( ....did manange to get to see her last night, but only for half an hour as she was very, very groggy. It seems all went well....will find out today if that is the case.

Did manage to speak to her this morning and she is in much better spirits :D ......fingers crossed she will be allowed home weds/thursday

Hi all,

thanks for the kind messages......Debs is still in Hospital, progress as been slower than expected, blood pressure very low and calcium levels also. They wont let her come home until they are happy with her levels. Fingers crossed it should be the weekend

Hi All,

great news, Debs came home last night :thumbsu: .......not completely out of the woods yet.....blood tests every other day for the next fortnight and they still have concerns over her calcium levels, this resulted in a rare condition called Hypocalcaemia....but myself and the gilrs are just really pleased to have 'mum' back at home so we can look after her and get her better.

Thanks to all for the very kind messages :)

So glad to hear that Debs is now over the worst of it and on the mend. I'm afraid we were a bit out of touch whilst she was 'going through it' in hospital as we've been away on holiday.

Best wishes to you both
