Hi All,

I've just booked tickets for the Sunday Scramble at Bicester Heritage. There are a good number of car clubs booked in as usual, including some MG Clubs and registers.

Always a great way to spend a Sunday morning. Anyone in?

Regards

Gary

It's a fab morning out, with plenty to see and drool over, in restored WWII bomber base now housing various classic car businesses all open to wander through. If good weather, aircraft will be flying in and out too!

Hi Ash and Hammond,
Great you can make it to Bicester.
The way to book is via the Bicester Heritage web site. Book a club parking ticket with one of the MG groups listed, it doesn't matter which one. I used the Aylesbury group. I'll be in my Rio Red TF MG55 GWT or give me call on 07875 468503 if you fancy a chat and a coffee.
Cheers
Gary

Hi
I booked a normal punter ticket (which I think was a couple of pounds more). I hope that on the day they will let me go to the right area. It would be great to meet for coffee (I will bring my mk2 MGF - assuming it will come out of the garage). Ash

I'm sure that will be fine, just tell them on the gate.
See you there.

A couple of us from Thames Valley region will be there - interested to see your red freestyle - did you buy it from a garage in Cornwall last year? we were looking at one that had 12k on it, but someone pipped us to it! If it is yours (Hammond), look forward to seeing it on Sunday!

Yes it was the one from Cornwall with 12k on it. Wasn't looking to buy another one at the time but couldn't let that one pass me by.
It was ridiculously mint and I've spent tons on it already mostly customising the interior to what I like (a lot of chrome!!).
Will be fitting stainless coolant pipes, exhaust and radiator next year. New red brake calipers and stainless brake pipes too.
I've fitted roll hoops, wind deflector and changed the seats for some TF ones which were half red. New Lexus style rear lights too.
Oh yeah and a new number plate!

Here's some pics to what it looks like at the moment

Yes, it looks a really good looking MGF! I ended up buying a gold one, which was 1 lady owner from new with 30k on.

Where did you get the chrome speaker rings from? I have been looking for them for my MGF, also like a bit of a chrome!

Hopefully see you on Sunday.

Jim

From Mike Satur website

They are really heavy and of good quality

I'm working Saturday night but hopefully we still be able to come.
I've gone overboard on the chrome a bit
