Brooklands MG Day - 6th April

Post by Rich Stone » Fri Jan 04, 2008 12:40 pm

The MG Day at Brooklands was a very successful run for us last year and it's happening again on 6th April.

If you're interested in joining us for a convoy again, please post below. Hopefully, we won't lose anyone on the M1 through the roadworks. We managed to keep the group together, just about! :D

Cool, you can put me down as a provisional yes. Not quite certain yet, as it might clash with a trip i'm doing to guernsey!

That's our Island's neighbour! Business or pleasure? We're off to Jersey in September...

Mark, I'm not sure whether a meeting place would be suitable for you as we're going down the M1 and round the M25 as we did last year and I would have thought it best for you to meet us there, going down the A41. We're probably meeting with the East Anglia crew at Toddington Services. But of course, if you want to drive all the way up here, then back down again, you're more than welcome! As far as a starting point for the convoy is concerned, I'll post details in the next couple of days...

Dave, surely you know about Brooklands MG Day! Details are on their website, including prices. Have a look here...

Well I hate to say it guys 'n' gals but Kate and I aren't going to be able to make Brooklands after all, due to personal circumstances. I'm hoping somebody can jump in and save the day... or actually the SmS convoy... so that we can still have a south mids presence there. Please post if you're willing to take on the challenge of convoy leader and let everyone know where you would like to meet and at what time.

Sorry it's such late notice. Couldn't be helped, unfortunately... :(

That's a shame Rich. As i'm borrowing a car to go, I shall be going straight there, but hopefully someone can pick up the job of organising the convoy. See you soon.
