Locked Keys in Boot

Post by Chris D » Sat Jun 08, 2013 9:27 pm

Hi, I have recently acquired an MG TF. So far so Good although not having been informed via previous owner have managed to shut keys in boot this morning and had to walk home and have left car where it was as have been unable to access boot tried a few times but to no avail. I have contacted seller who advised they had no spare key and had forgot to mention, not to shut keys in boot. I have read various ways of accessing via engine etc, but to complicated for my self. Does any body know of an easy way, or if I visit an Mg/Rover parts dealer Monday could they cut a key, if I provide log book etc. Any suggestions appreciated.

Cheers

Chris

I think you would need to supply the key code to a MG Rover dealer. Are you a member of the AA/RAC or other breakdown organisation? They should be able to get into the boot for you. Hope you're soon sorted.

Managed to get key code and then a key cut for under £25 quid.
