There's another action day coming up at Castle Combe - this one's the Forge Performance Day on Sat 14th Sept, and it sounds like we can have our own club stand (with I believe free passes for a limited number of 12 cars).

I know we have free tickets for up to 12 people, Jan has suggested voluntary donation of £5 per car for those of us lucky enough to receive a free ticket - it's still a great saving of £10 off the on the day price, a suggestion that I must confess I agree with as SWMGF funds would appreciate a bit of a boost.

Not long now! I have received the tickets and will give them out at the meet points.
•0845 Meet at Magor Services, M4 junc 23A (NP26 3YL) - to leave at 0900
•0945 Meet at Best Western Compass Inn, Tormarton GL9 1JB (just off M4 junc 18)
Still have a couple of spare tickets so feel free to add your name to list- it would be a shame for them to go to waste. There is guaranteed to be plenty of action with professional drifting displays as well as the opportunity to take your car on track (at additional cost)

A fab day was had by all.
And was lovely to welcome our new members, Andy (Jan's other half- obviously decided if he cant beat us he has to join us!) and Gary as well as prospective member Graham.
Such a shame that Russell and Nik had car troubles and couldn't make it
The weather was kind to us and it was roof down all the way there and back.
The drifting demonstrations had to be seen to be believed- think we will need to put this on the calendar for next year
