Sun 24th Nov - Double Dare Run

South Wales MG will be out and about this upcoming sunday on the 'Double Dare Run'

Meet point will be Cardiff West Services off Junc 33 of the M4 (post code for the services is CF72 8SA) at 9.30am for a 10am start.

This is the rough route we'll be taking, with a coffee stop at Dare Valley County Park and then continuing though Aberdare (hence the Double Dare run ) up to Hirwaun and then across Rhigos mountain road and down through Treorchy and Ogmore Vale. We'll finish up at the Beefeater in Llantrisant probably around 2pm or thereabouts.

Gary, Andrew & Cherie, Russell, Nikki, Roger, Andy and I all had a fab run out on today's 'Double Dare' run, followed up with lunch where we were joined by Ken & Clara and a new member Tim


We initially met up at Cardiff West services

There was a great drive up the mountain road





As far as Dare Valley Country Park





For a festive coffee and cake stop








Discussions followed in the car park as to which lights might suit Gary's car. Talk wasn't enough though, so Andy decided to try one for comparison purposes









More chat followed when we headed over Rhigos mountain









Final stop was The Longbow in LLantrisant
