Coast to Coast

After trawling through some old stuff on here about the original run in 2006, I'm going to do what I wanted in the first place 
Starting from Cardiff Bay early, go all the way to Llandudno on what's left of the A470, stop for an ice cream/food/rest etc then turn back for home, probably via the A55/Shrewsbury/A49 to South Wales to relieve the boredom
I don't think any "locals" would want to do this, but as I did on my quick German/French car museum trip in June, I'm happy to do this alone - but anyone who wants to tag along would be welcome.
