Hi all South Waleans.
New mgf owner and have hit a snag.
Enjoying some hood down motoring today, but when putting my window up when I stopped window shut up slightly too high and now will not go down. Wants to go up but not down, anyone have any idea? It's like it's jamming and motor getting really hot. Read a post saying there was a stop window can jump. If this is the problem where abouts is it located i had door card off today but could not see anything.
Secondly is there anyone Cwnmbran way that can change the rear window in the hood? Before saying its an easy zip out job the rear window does not zip out on my hood.
Any help much appreciated.....

Ok, window sorted, rubber o. Door stop had fallen apart and window had jumped stop.
Currently wrapped in copious amounts of insulating tape until I can order replacement rubber cover.
Still after local fix for rear window though!

I take it your rear screen is glass? As far as I am aware you can not replace the glass rear screen if it is fixed into the cover. The Glass broke in Cath's F a couple of years ago and had to replace the hood cover. Luckily Brown & Gammons where doing a online deal on them at the time.Tr7s-too wrote:Secondly is there anyone Cwnmbran way that can change the rear window in the hood? If you're in Cwmbran, pop in to see Steve or one of the guys at BAS, at least for a chat to discuss your options. BAS are at 10-13, Llantarnam Park Ind Est, and were the original OEM supplier to MGR.
