There used to be a guy up Ibstock way maintained a database of such stuff but he became a reclusive millionaire in Norfolk I believe!!!!!

Hi Pete,

as no wiser posts are delivered, my garage suggestion in the East Anglia area would be BS Motors in Sandy, Beds. It's not really 'round the corner from where you are, some 80 miles I guess, but worth a visit. When I'm in the UK, I regularly stop there, mostly to pick up some parts but also for a good chat over a hot cuppa. They really know their stuff and love MGFs :thumbsu:

I have had a problem with my mgf vvc heating up now and again think it is most likely the head gasket but taking it to a new garage in kings lynn for them to check it out, Had a good chat with the foreman and they seem to know what they are talking about, if it is the head gasket I will let them do it so watch this space,
