The Southmids Sportsters are meeting with a group of BritCars enthusiasts at Duxford on 24th May 2008. As it's in your territory, it would be great if EAMGF folks could join us too. In fact, Jon had suggested it a while ago when he saw our original thread.
You can find out a bit more here.
So is it a date?

That's a shame. I know Stewart and Kathryn are attending this one and then coming up to you for the hotel and run, so managing both. Oh well, we'll have to organise something where we can get together in the future...

I was aware of this meet at Duxford. As it is in our region I get emails from Duxford inviting us to events. Knowing that it was on at the same weekend as our Charity run, I decided not not to partake.
I know that some people wouldn't want to go to two MG events in the same weekend, and thought that it was better to promote the F Register event - especially as it was our charity run of the year.
On a personal note, I have exams at the beginning of June and can't afford to sacrifice a whole weekend to MG. If people are coming to both events that is fantastic - if it was any other month then I would consider it.
