Hi all new to the forum brought mg tf as bit off a project but is there anyone local could help with taking engine out as the clutch arm has seized I live wisbech cambs way many thanks

Hi Lionel, welcome to the Register.

When we got Cath's F the clutch needed changing, the mobile mechanic who did it didn't take the engine out, just jiggled the Sub frame a bit.
I don't know how he did it, I just passed him the spanners and generally got in the way.

Ok I have tried with it in car but can't move arm enough to release

Bilstein shocks, Piper 4-2-1 manifold, Daytona, Vader cold-air induction, custom Z and F Stage 2 re-map, Electric boot release, braided hoses, Blue Magnecor leads, Technozen relays, Stage 1 head, BMW Angel Eyes headlights, "MG" puddle lights.

Hi biddy welcome

I had a few issues with my good ladies mgf, there is a guy called tony allard in wisbech who sorted mine, sorry hers out and really quick and a good price too :thumbsu:
MGF is that initials for My Grinning Face :-D
