Welcome to the EAMGF forum. We have regular Sunday pub meets in the summer months, and travel as a group to national and international events.

Why not start posting by introducing yourself on our 'Welcome' visitors board? You will need to register here to post on our forum, but it is quick and easy. There is no catch to signing up. It's also free to join the forum and start posting. It is well worth it.

There are more mesageboards in additon to this one. Click: "Board index" (also at the top left hand side of the page) to see more.

The site is run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts :). So if you have any suggestions or comments let us know.

Why not also check out our website: eamgf.org It has pages on upcoming events, a gallery, useful links and more...

Hope to see you all soon

Hi Marcus, and welcome to the forum.

Sorry to hear about the cambelt - ouch :(

I'll be honest with you they are expensive cars - but not because things go wrong :D Have you heard of the darkside as yet?? There are some major victims on this forum

The summer and good times are on their way. Hope to see you about soon!

Cheers

But not as expensive as the sad guy on 'Inside Out' last night who had spent £47K on a Ford Escort! :o

Hi Marcus... Welcome to the forum. Hope you'll be able to join one of the runs down to Southmids soon.

That's it... I'm off back to my own bit of the forum now... :? 8-)

Hi Beemer,

Just catching up with your other posts on the forum. Congrats on buying the F :thumbsu:

Do you have any pics as yet?

I am actually in Sutton, but I put Ely as otherwise it would just confuse people

Hi Russell, welcome to the mgfregister :)

Hope you are enjoying your new TF. Thanks for registering on the eamgf website - hope you find it useful.

I normally organise the meets in the region, but I won't be organising one until the new year as I am already booked up for other things until then.

MG wise I will be going to the annual xmas do in Abingdon: http://mgfregister.org/forum/viewtopic. ... db18981d23

You are more than welcome to join us for that. Usually a good turnout. If there is enough interest in the region, we can convoy down to the pub.

Also you might want to attend the MGCC Anglia Riviera Run: http://mgfregister.org/forum/viewtopic. ... db18981d23

I travel through March most days, so I will give you a wave if I see you. :thumbsu:

Any photos of you new purchase as yet?

Cheers

Jon

Hi,

Just wanted to introduce myself/ourselves.

We are new to owning a MG TF 160, had it about 3 weeks now, and everything seems to be going OK. Just doing a few cosmetic tweaks at the moment before any major improvements.

Just looking forward to a long summer with plenty of sun to enjoy our new toy.

Steve & Susan

Welcome both Steve & Susan,

Thanks for the introduction. I am hoping we will have some decent sun soon! I put on the hardtop, for the first time in 5 years of ownership, in Feb and I haven't felt like taking it off as yet

Nice to see another 160 in the forum :thumbsu: What colour is it?

Hi, have just joined the forum, bought MGF a few weeks ago, but wanted one for years. It needs quite a bit of TLC but mechanicals are good,

Based in Newmarket, looking forward to meet/drives next year!

Hi Rob,

Welcome to the forum :thumbsu: Just down the road from me, I'm near Ely. What colour do you have? Mine's Copperleaf (dark) red, I'll give you a wave if I see you about :D

Will definitely be getting some runs organised in the new year.

Hi Moz,

Wow - London buses - nothing since June and then two people in one day. Welcome to the forum Mozmoret. :thumbsu:

Not 100% sure about the leaking window - is it leaking from a particular place? Might be worth posting in our technical forum in case anyone has had the same problem. As a starter for ten have a look at Rob Bells site, as I believe the cheaters can be a usual suspect: http://www.mgf.ultimatemg.com/group2/co ... ipping.htm

Glad you are having fun - even more fun once we are past this cold spell.

Love Bury St Edmunds - especially the IPA factory :D
