East Anglia floods

When I woke up in London this morning and switched on the TV to watch the breakfast news, I saw that catastrophic flooding was imminent in East Anglia :o

From what I understand, and speaking to a few friends who live on the coast, it was not as bad as they predicted. I did see a few pictures on the net that didn't look good though.

I hope that no-one from the forum has been badly hit by the floods. I think generally that we are quite prepared for them in this region.

Cheers

Jon

Hi Jon yes it was not as bad as predicted i think it was only the rich and famous that copped it in this area (Southwold) 60 grand for a beach hut :o :o

Not a day to be driving the coast road with the top down though

Anyway from the look of the Forum just of late is there anyone left in East Anglia ? ?

Jon,

Due to the unreliability sometimes of media reports i considered it my duty to go to Southwold and inspect the condition of the brewery myself for the benefit of Adnams fans everywhere !

I can confirm that no damage was apparant........ In fact the premisis was considerably drier when i left than when i arrived (Hic)

I will however continue to moniter the situation by testing the output of said premisis over the next few days to ensure that the water quality has not been affected, :D :D

Its a tough job i know but someone has to do it
