Wisbech St Mary Village & Country Fayre 28/06/2009
Hi everybody
I've been approached by the organiser of the 'Wisbech St Mary Country Fayre' to see if we would like to attend again this year. I know all of you who came last year enjoyed the day and said you would like to come again. The date this year is Sunday 28th June. Any body who is interested in coming, please put your names on the list below so I know how many places to reserve.
More information to follow when I am updated.

Lot's of activities going on, as well as lots of nice cars on display.
I particularly enjoyed the burger and bacon bap from the local butcher - that was a proper burger
Some pictures from last year:

Just seen this posted on the web (Is that Simons Trophy in the background?):
WISBECH St Mary Village and Country Fayre promises to be bigger and better than ever with organisers expecting more than 6,000 visitors.
A fun-packed programme has been arranged for the event on Sunday June 28 and new for this year is a free park and ride bus which will operate from Wisbech via Leverington and Gorefield.
The show is being staged on Wisbech St Mary Sports Field and starts at 10am finishing at about 6pm.
Attractions will include BBC Radio Cambridgeshire's Johnny Dee as presenter with some special comedy and impersonations.
There will be two different sessions of the country's leading interactive falconry show 'Ye Olde Redtail Falconry Display, space hopper races with prizes, dog displays, two different displays from the current world record breaking holder and TV star for BMX and motorcycle stunts, aerobatic displays, model aircraft, live music, craft stalls, and trade stands.
There will be a laser clay pigeon shoot, animals and reptiles, children's activities and amusements, a hog roast, general food stalls and a licensed bar.
Not so sure about Johnny Dee, but I think the BMX and motorcycle display sounds like fun

Re: Wisbech St Mary Village & Country Fayre 28/06/2009
Please find a link to the venue on Google Maps link.
I think the plan should be to meet up at Wisbech Macdonalds in the morning like last year:
Macdonalds
Cromwell Road
Wisbech
PE14 0RD
8.45am -9.15am as have to be on the site at 9.30am (it is about a 15 min drive from Maccy D's to the destination).
Here is a link to the meet-up point on maps google: Google Maps link
If you can't make it that early let us know and then we can reserve spaces (not that there was anything wrong with the other cars on display, but it is nice to keep the MG's together )
We will try to take a less scenic route there this year
Thanks
Jon
