Anyone local to newmarket have a suspension pump?
Hi, new to mgf`s, my suspension needs pumping up, i was wondering if anyone has got a pump close to newmarket? Will pay for use. Alternatively i`m a mechanic and we dont currently require a pump in the workshop, but may be able to justify getting hold of one if theres interest in the area from you guys?

Hi Rich,
Twin Motor Company (Sutton) have one (20 miles from Newmarket) - 07884 226716
MGOC (Swavesey) have one (25 miles from Newmarket) - 01954 234001
I imagine there probably is one a lot closer, but I'm not aware of any I'm afraid.
There should be one down the road from you in Moulton (named after Alex Moulton who invented the Hydragas system??? ). Criminal if there isn't.
If you do find one closer to Newmarket, let us know.
Cheers
Jon

Think there may still be one in soham, at Crown garage, i used to work there before they switched to mainly hondas. Only just thought of it!
Its not a vacuum type though, is there any real advantage to using vacuum over non vacuum type? disadvantage? only ever used the non vacuum, but never on my own car.

Ahh.... I forgot about Crown. The dealership that I bought my F from took it to Crowns for a service, and it came back looking like a 4x4 As it was a chilly November, and expected the car to be sitting lower due to the ambient temp, I was most suprised .
Not sure of the pros / cons between a vacuum and non vacuum to be honest. Could be worth posting the question in the technical forum for the guru's to answer. But I can vouch that the one at Crowns did the job.
Cheers
