No, not going but watching it from my back garden while having a car workshop day with Dave/Rhona and Nicole and a BBQ after.

The traffic jam into Southend is currently sitting at the Rayleigh Weir junction, that's about 7 miles, glad I'm not in that in this heat.

Hope we have some of that heat for the Queen Vic (as we've gone off topic as usual  ).

Yes we'll be there, along with some more of the Roadsters.
We usually get around 200 cars depending on the weather :thumbsu:
Fingers crossed for sun shine, otherwise it may become a boat show

We dont meet before the show as Billericay is in the middle of most of us so there's no point but to be honest i'd be surprised if we're let onto the site as it's probably a bit of a bog.
Any News Dave?

I wondered that too, I drove past it yesterday and it did not look good. If they cancel the show could we not all get together and go for an impromptu run somewhere? Especially if it is not raining.

The show is still on at the moment, a final inspection will take place Friday am.
Because of its location & being on a gentle incline means that the area usually drains well.
We are also keeping an eye on the weather forecast, so I'll update as soon as I know any more.

Any news on the state of the field?
Essex Roadsters are taking a well earned rest, see Essex MGF for local meets

We may have TWO meetings each month
First Thursday of the month at the Dick Turpin on the A127
and
Third Thursday of the month at the Halfway House on the A127.

The Met-Office are forecasting heavy rain from lunchtime today right through to midnight! I don't think the lower field will drain off by 8am tomorrow.
