Have a good visit guys - take plenty of pics and get a list of the products they use.

We have just arrived in Xian for the second stage of our holiday. Overnight train - will tell you all about it when I next see you all.

Was good wasn't it. :)

They really looked after us well, laid on lunch & gave us a very interesting tour, as well as a propper demonstration on the propper way to clean a car. I don't know about you guys, but learned loads :)

Just as well really, given the state of the roads on the run in! Filthy roads are one thing, but I could've done without the closed road for roadworks, the impromptu diversion & the 6" deep flood! Poor Kier, it was only the second time his car has been out this year & I've never seen it so dirty! :)

A big thank you to Andy for arranging this. My car looks fantastic. I want to thank you all for being so kind and voting for my car to be done. It means a lot to me and my kids. It was amazing to watch and learn how to actually wash my car. They pulled out all the stops and the lunch was great too! I will order something but won't be able to do anything for the next couple of weeks. It was so nice to see Mark and Kerion cars soooo dirty and I have a video of puddle that we went through of Mark's car! Hopefully Dave T is able to forward it on to you Mark.

I had a fantastic time and look forward to our next outing!

Incidentally, i cleaned the engine bay of my company Passat using the technique shown to us by AutoGlym, here is the result...

Image

The whole job took less than 15 minutes (closer to 10 actually), was very easy indeed and the result was astonishing for an 11 year old car with 179,000 miles on it and an engine bay that has never been cleaned. :)

...Oh, and i want to see the videos of the fording! :D

That looked like a brilliant day. Is there any possibility of a 2013 re-run?
