MGTF Looks Special! but is it?
Have any of you Guys and Gals seen this around the Essex area?

Re: MGTF Looks Special! but is it?
Its not a special edition as the ad says, but quite possibly a monogram coloured specced up car.
Blue hood doesn't work for me though, and would benefit from the bright pack.
If I had to guess I would say it was monogram saffron.
Dave Tynan should be able to tell you how many TF's were made in that colour, and may even be able to confirm the colour from the reg.

Re: MGTF Looks Special! but is it?
I'd agree with Steve that it's Saffron (Supertallic) from the Monogram range.

... and the only one of three with paint Saffron (Special Metallic) and VAJ Champagne Oxford Leather interior
TF135
The other two are Ebony Black Oxford Leather and Black Sebring fabric.
I'd say, go and get her

Decent money for a rare car, a one off indeed and I would think with the interior, the best of the three.
Bilstein shocks, Piper 4-2-1 manifold, Daytona, Vader cold-air induction, custom Z and F Stage 2 re-map, Electric boot release, braided hoses, Blue Magnecor leads, Technozen relays, Stage 1 head, BMW Angel Eyes headlights, "MG" puddle lights.

Re: MGTF Looks Special! but is it?
I've just had a reply from the seller on eBay. Apparently he bought the TF off the guy who had it on Gumtree and is now selling her on with a new MoT. Professional dealer. Nice profit, though. Anyway, as the acquisition price is known to the general public, I am in doubt he will get the money he asks for.

Re: MGTF Looks Special! but is it?
Dieter is spot on, rare indeed but not a special edition.
Would be a nice buy for someone looking for something unusual.

You are not thinking of anybody in particular, are you?Dave_T wrote:Would be a nice buy for someone looking for something unusual.
But checking the ad on ebay, she has found a new home anyway.

Think the car may still be for sale, if anyone wants it

The seller had two adverts running on eBay both for different time periods. Neither have had a bid on as yet

Don't give me that, there's no more room on your driveway

Mykel, not that I'm trying to tempt you (now where did I leave my carrots?), but I'm sure you could make room.................
