Hi all,
We have again been offered a good deal on a 4 course Xmas meal at the Ship Inn, Stock Road (B1007) Hanningfield, £17:95 per person.

Having Spoken to Mark & Keiron the proposal is to again have a joint MGCC Anglia Centre & Essex Roadster Xmas meal.

The date is Saturday 14th December arrive 19:00 dine at 20:00.

Menu:
.Starters.
Homemade Minestrone Soup
Served with garlic and Parmesan croutons.
Homemade Pâté.
Served with a tomato and onion chutney, warm bread and mixed leaf salad
Mixed Prawn and Crayfish Cocktail.
Served on a bed of mixed leaf salad, topped with Marie Rose dressing
and finished with wholemeal bread and butter.
Pan-Fried Garlic Mushrooms
In a creamy white wine sauce served with warm crusty bread

.Mains.
Hand Carved Traditional Roasted Norfolk Turkey
Served with crispy roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, sausages wrapped in bacon,
homemade stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and finished with a homemade gravy.
Pan-Fried Minted Lamb Cutlets
Served with creamy mashed potato, fresh vegetables and finished with a red wine jus.
Grilled Sea Bass Fillet
Served with sautéed potato, green beans and finished with a
creamy white wine, lemon, dill and king prawn sauce.
Mushroom and Courgette Risotto
Finished with sun blushed tomatoes and a mixed leaf salad.

A non refundable deposit of £5 per person will be required & needs to be paid by 14/11/2013. Menu choices will also be required by 14/11/2013.
The balance of £12:95 is payable on the night.
(Cancelation of the meal less than 2 days before will require payment in full.)

We had a lovely evening, everybody was there, the meal was perfect as was the service, decorations and timing (they even enjoyed the Christmas Quiz ), well done Andrew & Emma and Dave & Rhona as the winning team. The Anglia Centre cake went down well too. We didn't leave the pub until 00.20.
