Hi we have just got an MG and we are in love with it, but it has a very very milky rear window, does anyone know how to clean it or do we have to go straight to the other option of replacing it. Many thanks Tracy

Hi Tracy ... welcome to MG ownership and the MGF register forum ... they're are plastic polish's that we use to bring the rear screen back to clear ... sure Auto Glyn do one and pretty sure the one i use is called Greygate plastic polish ... which used to be sold through the Register .. or Brown & Gammons.

There are special products for this problem, on the mx5 we had and the f I have now I used a cutting compound to clean and polish scratches out followed by a good wax polish, worked fine but obviously some windows are worse than others.

Hi Tracy, sorry for not replying sooner but we're on tour in Norway at the moment. Yes Greygate is the way to go. Where in Essex are you ?, can you pop along to one of our meets so we can all get to know you and your car.
