Powderham Historic Vehicle Gathering 2015

Post by Dingbat » Mon Apr 27, 2015 6:10 pm

Hi, guys.

This years Powderham show is on 11 and 12 July, and once again the MGF register are organising the stand on behalf of the MGCC Devon and Cornwall centre.

This is probably the biggest and best of the shows in the south west and you have the opportunity to bring your MG along and get FREE entry on either or both days.

Find more about the show by following this link: http://historic-vehicle-gathering.info/

All you have to do to get free entry is to let me know which day you wish to attend and what MG you would like to park on our stand for the day. It couldn't be easier. However as the MGCC are paying for the stand you have to be a member to take part.

We are limited to between 10 and 12 cars on each day and I'll be allocating broadly on the basis of first come first served. However, we have agreed with the MGCC that we will endeavour to have a mix of MG's of varying vintage so I will have to apply some sort of rules if everyone wants to bring their MGF to the show.

Anyway, just post a reply and I'll make sure your name is on the list.

Regards

Brian

    Hi, guys.

Thanks for all the positive responses. It looks like we'll once again be able to put on a good display of cars. I've had a few entries from the D&C Centre as well as from this forum so we ought to get our fair share of oldies.

I've not yet had the passes through from the crash box club and will be on holiday for the next couple of weeks. Keep adding names to the list if you'd like to attend and I'll sort it all out when I get back.

    Regards

      Brian,

At last nights meeting at Dartbridge, Adrian W (Brixham) asked if he could join the Powderham Show (Sunday) with his MG.

I'll pass his contact details on to you via PM.

      Guys.

As it stands the attendees for each day are as follows:

      SATURDAY
      Brian
      Trevor Vertigan
      Peter Foreman
      Bob Slatter
      Adrian Ward
      Trevor Walbridge

      SUNDAY
      Brian
      Mel Jones
      Colin & Steffi
      Steve & Dora
      Jane & Mike Biles
      Neil & Julie
      Stu & Bev
      Sheila & Colin
      Pete & Lin
      Paul & Hollie
      Nigel & Jo

So, I've got 10 passes for each day with 3 cars planning to attend on the Saturday and 14 on the Sunday. It would be very helpful if some of those that have asked to come on the Sunday could do the Saturday instead. The I'm happy to push the allocation limits a bit - say 9 and 11 on each day, but that won't solve the problem.

Could you all also please send me a pm with your home address so that I know where to send the passes.

      Many thanks

      Brian
