Well that’s got your attention

Had a conversation with one of the guides at the Dartmoor Prison Museum today, now have confirmation of our visit on Sunday 17th February.

Few details still to sort, but main objective is confirmed.

Already fourteen attending in seven cars, still room for a few more.

We're going to Prison

All details now in place for Sunday 17th February.

Meet at the Dartmoor Diner, Roborough Down, Bickleigh PL6 7BQ from 9:00am for a Tea or Coffee (breakfast if you so wish) before leaving for Princetown at approx. 09:30.

Shelia & Colin will be going direct to the Prison Museum (Tavistock Rd, Princetown, Yelverton PL20 6RR) from N. Devon

Tour of the Museum is booked for 10:30, I've been told that we should be able to park together, but may need to double park if other visitors are there.

There are toilets at the Museum but no other facilities, and photography is not permitted inside the Museum.

Following our tour, we should have plenty of time to visit the Dartmoor Visitor Centre before going to the Plume of Feathers where a reservation has been made for lunch at 1:00pm in the Carvery Conservatory.

After lunch, for those wishing to do so, we intend driving across Dartmoor via Dartmeet to the A38 junction, (Pear Tree Cross, Ashburton) where we will then go our separate ways.

At present 14 of us in 7 cars, still time for anyone else wishing to join us, but will need to cap numbers to 12 cars due to the size of the Museum car park.
