SEPTEMBER NORTH WEST MEET - The Hinderton Arms - 26/09/13

Hi Folks !


Just another heads up for folks interested in coming along to the North West Meet, its is
a great location with great food and with bunch of very friendly welcoming people, at this
venue we have use of the 'private' Function Room which is equipped with a projector with
laptop ready connections, they accept all major cash cards and have an outside smoking,
area, this meet is open to all MG owners in the area but feel free to come by any means
if your MG is off the road.

When you arrive just park up your car and enter in the main entrance, the bar will be in
front of you, the function room is to your immediate left though a set of double wooden
doors with glass panels.

Funny as them type of Traffic Lights with the work STOP printed on the red lens were still about into the 90's, the last one I remember getting replaced was at the junction of Rollerston Drive and Grove Road in New Brighton/Wallasey.

I'm 100% Confirmed for this, got my Rota through and i'm off, hoping Roverman will pop down again.

The wall and gate in the foreground have now gone...to be replaced by an extention to the property right up to the corner. The access to the back entrance is also not there now...you have to come in at the other side of the pub these days, straight out of the car park....how times change!!

One week to go, can't wait, even the Mrs said she will come, well go sit in the corner on her own lol, guess i'm ordering 2 baked Camenberts.

Don't forget that the monthly meeting is this week on Thursday 26th at the Hinderton Arms....everybody welcome as usual......By the way, DONT go into our usual room to the left of the main door unless tyou want to join the Rotary Club who have booked it for a one off meeting this month, but instead follow the bar round to the right where you will find some comfey old leather sofas which have been reserved for us this month....

Hi all

Many thanks for the invite last night. We were made to feel very welcome. John is glad you enjoyed the MG3 Demonstrator which was kindly loaned to us for the night by Graham Walker MG Chester (http://www.grahamwalker.co.uk/mg-cars).

We passed out our web address and email address but unfortunately there has been an issue with the hosting server today so the http://www.johnwoodsmotorcare.net website and the emails are down. We're hoping it will all be back up and running tomorrow. All we've been able to do today is post stuff via twitter!

Why do I miss all the best meetings? See you all at the West Cheshire meeting at the Bunbury Arms on the 8th October, although we probrably still won't have our MG3 by then.

Aye it was a great meet, best one for me so far, great to meet loads of new folks but many thanks goes to John and Mark with the MG3, what a fantastic little motor.

Food was a good as ever too.

can you get the details for the day at Oulton Park to me?
