Hi all, just spent a few hour's replaceing Rear Nearside brakepipe on car , first time attempt and not to bad to do, not like some of the scary stories on some forum's.
After first locating leak ( near "T" joint ) and cutting and removing pipe then fittings (it seemed easier that way), as being able to use socket on old connections made job alot quicker.
Replacement pipe from - Jim Barker Motor Factors - Motor Factors in Widnes WA8 7SS.
Cost £6.00p plus new flare spanner 10/11mm. £7.00 .
Brake fluid from ASDA £8.00p + home made Bleed Kit £0.00 = Total Cost £ 21.00p + about 5 hrs total labour.
Job done and i am no professional. Still love my MGF
