Use Twitter? Get live road updates for the region!

We are here because we love our cars, but even moreso because we like to drive 
and there is nothing worse than a run being spoilt down to roadworks 
I used to work for "Traffic Wales" (think Highways Agency), and they deploy all those lovely traffic officers (TO's) that go around in 4x4's attending broken down vehicles.... anyway, they maintain three twitter accounts to announce updates of road closures / accidents etc.
@TrafficWalesN (North and Mid-wales)
@TrafficWalesS (South Wales)
@TrafficWales (Updates from both)
They also do an iOS and Android app.... but Im not a fan - hope this helps!
