Help request for the Preston area..

I have just received the following email which is a request for help from a fellow owner in the Durham area. Can anybody in the Preston area offer assistance and if so can you reply to Noel at the email below…

Hi Simon,
A gentleman who is about to join the Tyne Tees Centre of the MGCC and is an MG TF160 owner, is keen on acquiring an MGF VVC as well. He lives in Durham, and has noticed a car for sale in Preston, which seems to fit the bill, but is loath to travel that distance until he has some level of confidence that the car is as described.

Do you have a North West MGCC member and MGF owner in the Preston area who might be so kind as to give the car a quick look-see on my friends behalf please? Any help would be very much appreciated. Any replies to me if you would be so kind.

I myself have owned an MG TF 85th Anniversary model from new and just love the car!
