Decent Garages

Post by Phoenix » Thu Nov 29, 2007 1:17 am

My F suffered a nasty bruising after i mounted a kerb to let an ambulance past and now it is well and trully knackered. The pedals actually move left and right in the footwell when i turn the steering wheel. It is making an awful grinding noise and half of the front end of the car sounds like its flapping off underneath.

I live on the wirral and need to find a local garage who i can trust to look after it. Can anyone make any recommendations ?

Try Vernons Garage in Heswall. Its on Pensby Rd heading in to Heswall and just before the main lights on the right hand side. I've used them before and I know a few others who have too.

If you have no joy there I use a guy in Liverpool - Anderton Automotive just at the back of the Wallasey tunnel on Pall Mall - Excellent for repair/accident stuff

i use a "man in a van" from Hooton, Steve Noble who will come to the car and either work in situ or take it away if more extensive jobs are required. You can contact him on 07831 871216
