Re: Brean Stages Rally 26th - 27th Jan '08
some info for those not been before - taken from website
Brean Stages Rally 2008
Brean Stages Rally
26th - 27th January 2008
We extend a warm welcome to all competitors, sponsors, marketing partners and officials to the BREAN STAGES RALLY.
The organisers have great pleasure in welcoming a new main sponsor of the rally for 2008, UK Farm Finance. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the company for their generous support of this year’s event.
Event scrutineering and documentation will be held on Friday 25th January with leg 1 of the rally on Saturday containing 6 Special stages and Leg 2 on Sunday will contain a further 6 special stages, providing a total of some 50 miles of competitive rallying over the weekend on the excellent sealed surface roads of the Leisure Park. For those of you who wish to stay on site at the rally village, Brean Leisure Park are offering a two night bed and breakfast rally special. The package includes the now traditional, and extremely popular, rally dinner and cabaret on Saturday evening, details and booking form are included with the regulations.
Following the rally each competitor will be sent one complimentary CD containing images taken during the rally by the event photographer.
A regular feature of the rally has been its support of a local charity or organisation, with a total of some £30,000 being donated to worthy causes over the past 11 years.
The maximum number of entries is restricted to just 80, so to ensure you get a run, be sure to obtain the rally regs and send your entry in very early.
Finally, we would like to acknowledge the support and assistance given to us by members of the local motor clubs and to the many marshals and officials who provide the rally with their invaluable support throughout the weekend.

We were really interested in this one, but £15 to park for entry seems a bit on the high side.
We used to park up the road abit - local watering hole - then walk down and in. Can you still do this????

Depending on numbers (and cars available) we could always try and get 4 in a car (obviously not in an F/TF!!) to reduce the cost per head.
