Rep's Position Filled

Post by James Curgenven » Mon Jul 07, 2008 8:47 pm

As some of you may know I'm standing down as the Regional Rep for the West of England, after two years I don't feel I'm able to give enough time to the region whilst maintaining my work and involvement in my two positions on the Committee.

If any of you would like to put your names forward for the position any of you are more than welcome, the only stipulation is that to be a Rep you have to be a paid up member of the MG Car Club.

The website (which I'll admit I haven't updated for some time) resides on my personal web space, but as it's a WordPress Blog format I'm more than happy to add the new Rep as an Administrator so you can continue updating the site for the region.

Position filled by Nigel May. Congrats Nigel!

Sorry to hear you're standing down James. Hope to still see you at any future events and meetings etc ~ where would we be without Clark Kent!?

I'm happy to throw my cap into the ring (so that the region isn't rep-less), but don't want to stop anyone else taking on the role if anyone else is keen to do it.

Hope that dont mean you wont be along to the meets in future James, we've missed your banter the last couple of times.
I support your motion (that sounds a bit iffy :P ) Nigel, good luck.

I fully understand your reasons for stepping down, James...and I think Nigel would do a fab job of keeping the region going! Keeping fingers crossed for you Nigel...!

Lets just hope that the decision is made quickly - I'd hate to see the tumbleweed blowing across this region - as it now is in other regions - after so much activity!

I'm more than happy to recommend Nigel for the position. To be honest I think you'd be hard pushed to find a better person :)

Oh stop... or I'll need to go and buy a box of tissues! :)

Hope to see you at an evening get-together soon Andie. By the way can you offer any advice to Craig on where to get his F serviced in Dorset? See topic below this one.
