After checking out meals in 2 possible pubs (it's hard work being Regional Rep

) we've decided on the King William at Catcott for our next meet http://www.kingwilliaminncatcott.co.uk/ Meet at 7pm-ish for 7.30pm.

Hi Guys when we came pass the turning for Catcott yesterday they were putting up the the road work/chipping signs. Goolged it when we got home to find out that they are going to resurface/chip the A39 starting on the 20th with long delays expected. After spending 4k+ on getting the paint/body up together we will not be attending Thursday evening. We're still ok for the 30th.

Ok ~ whereabouts is the work as I'm unable to find any reference to it?

According to the North Somerset website it's from Ashcott to Bridgwater. To find it go to the web site click on http://northsomerset.roadworks.org/ and zoom in to the A39 and all the symbols will appear, click on the road work symbol along the A39 and the details come up. You will need to change the from date [in the box on the right] to the 20th and the to date to the 30th.

Looking at the map, if you take first right just after Ashcott you can run parallel to the A39 straight through to Catcott.
