As we have done for the last few years we will be attending the MG Gathering at Athelhampton House (NE of Dorchester) organised by the Bournemouth & Poole MG Owners Club. If you've not been before information on the house can be found at http://www.athelhampton.co.uk/

This is a great day out where all cars attending park on the lawns of the house (Admission is £12 for car, driver & passenger which includes entry to the house) and you just relax in the beautiful surroundings, look round the house and admire approx 200 MGs. During the event I suspect there will be the annual duck race / raffle etc with proceeds going to local charities. Bring a picnic (very popular) or dine in the restaurant.

Meet at 10.00am at Morrisons in Yeovil.

Will be at Combe for the MG Trophy racing Fridat ad Saturday, so need a day off on the Sunday.

Are dogs allowed to come along? Might bring the hound along to save him staying at home on his own.

I guess he's not allowed in the house but thought he may be allowed to picnic.

That's a good question! I would have thought ok in the grounds if on a lead and no for the house as you've said.
