Autojumble

Post by stux99 » Tue Sep 16, 2008 10:01 pm

Just been sent this, anyone up for it?

The 8th Footman James Autumn Autojumble and Automart
Saturday 1st November 2008
The Royal Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, Shepton Mallet, Somerset, BA4 6QN

Our next Classic event, an Autojumble and Automart, takes place on Saturday 1st November at the Royal Bath and West Showground, this event replaces for this year the restoration show.

With over 150 stalls offering everything from tyres; tools; spares; carpets; body parts; signs and collectibles and with classic cars for sale this promises to be a great day out for Classic Car enthusiasts. There will also be car clubs with stalls promoting their spares schemes and membership benefits. Full catering facilities will be available throughout the day.

This year we are trialling car parking for Classic Cars inside the showground. So if you are coming in a classic just follow the RED arrows and you will be parked in the Classic car area on hard standing! Car parking is free for all but all occupants using the Classic Car park will require a ticket to enter.

You are able to offer your Classic for sale by booking a place in the Automart at £45+vat (form on the website under exhibitor info). We won't allow for sale signs in the Classic Car park!

Tickets are available now from our website with £2 off just go to www.bccsl.co.uk and buy your tickets using offer code AVL8. You will then be able to print off your tickets to bring with you. On the door entry is £7 for all except accompanied under 16's who are foc.

Also on the new website are full details of this event and the next Footman James Bristol Classic Car Show which will be celebrating its 30th birthday next February.

We look forward to seeing you at the Footman James Autumn Autojumble & Automart at the Royal Bath and West Showground on November 1st between 9.30 and 4.30. All parking is free.

Safe motoring

I hear that there will be no club stands inside the Autojumbe Restoration Show this year either.

Bristol classic Car Show in Feb is usually good though - good supply of Pastys from Cornish Pasty Company wagon as well ;)
