I've just registered on the forum.
My interest in MGF's only started around a year ago having bought a VVC in British Racing Green with 70k on the clock. Originally I wanted an Abingdon LE but at the time couldn't find one in reasonable condition so settled on a standard Mk1 and then spent the early summer months giving it some TLC, attending some events (MG Live, MGF20, Goodwood FOS...) and just enjoying driving it.
Almost one year on and I've got my head buried deep inside an Abingdon LE VVC that I bought late last summer (it's now got serious) many hours have been spent on maintainence, replacing or upgrading parts. Not the best time of year to crawling around outside but I've learnt quite a lot these last few months about the 'f' in general not to mention the hours sat on eBay or looking through discussion threads, also on first name terms with the postman.
I've attached some photo's it's rewarding to keep alive another British MG classic, looking forward to being back behind the wheel ASAP.
