Did some jobs on the TF today.

Post by Madgasters » Mon Sep 28, 2009 10:36 pm

As we had the day off today me and Hollie spent a bit of time on the TF.

First we put some aluminium grilles in the boot vents, which I wasn't sure of at first but now I have done them I like them alot. Then I did the same in the side vents, and whilst I had the side vent out on the LH side I re-routed the cold air feed to the K & N filter. Then we painted all four calipers red and cleaned up the inside of the wheels. Last of all we changed all the interior bulbs to Leds. :D

I hope you used some wheel sealant while you had them off and cleaned, as it makes getting the brake dust off so much easier!

Paul / Hollie, looks like a good days work! We'll look forward to having a closer inspection at the next meeting!

Well not on the TF, but I did take the F to the local tyre fitting centre to have new wheels fitted:

Anybody want a set of well kerbed 16" 6 spoke alloys?

Replaced my cooling fan on the ZT today with a Kenlowe replacement, so hopefully that'll be it for cooling now!

Darn site cheaper than a 2 speed OEM one too and just as easy to fit.

Mine was the 3 speed and I had to do the wiring mod to get 2 speeds back, suppose I will have to replace it at some stage although I do have a set of bushes to repair it properly

£129 for a modified to be a direct fit Kenlowe which should outlast the car from Jules on the 75 & ZT OC site.
