Just to let you know, I spoke to the guys at work and I'm going to take half the day off to prep the car and meet you all in good time. Let me know the wheres and whens!

My employer wasn't interested in the publicity as they are already sponsoring another one of the main Quay for My Car nights, as they manufacture the model in question!

Pretty much decided on PCWorld car park at 5.30 onwards.

It's easy to find if you leave Holes Bay Road at the first roundabout after leaving town and heading west.
Head up that road, keeping in the left lane, and turn left at the traffic lights.
The entrance to PCWorld car park is just off that junction.

Do street view on Google - it's fun. :)

See you at 5.30! I've got my first mod in the works, got one of the Mike Satur rollover hoop/glass wind deflector combos and I've dropped the glass bit off at a local window tinting company so that they can put a smoke film on it, should look rather smart but subtle methinks.

Subtle is good - not that I know the meaning of the word, what with an orange car and almost matching hair ...

Haha! Looking forward to Friday now. I think I'm going to try and polish and wax the F beforehand if I've got time but need to do a return trip to Cardiff on Wednesday so we'll see.
See you all then.

You do realise if you polish and wax before you go to Cardiff the minute you leave the drive to head for Wales there will be a downpour to ensure your nice shiny car will look filthy by the time you get there.

I'd leave it to Thursday if I were you.

Chris and I are looking forward to this event as well. Can't wait to meet up with you guys. :thumbsu:

Perhaps I should have worded my original bit better... :D

I will come back from Cardiff and THEN (time dependent) polish and wax the car up! Otherwise it'll get covered in road grime and general crap anyway :thumbsd:

Sorry all, just found out that I have to go up to London today, unexpectedly. I am pretty sure this means I won't be back in time to make this one now. Sods law, it's because I said I would definitely be there!

Hope the sun comes out for you all later - catch you all soon.

It will.

For all you cross-dressers out there - I still have the hulas from Sunday in my car, so if you feel
like a little fun you know where to come.

My car is manky after a nearly 700 mile trip. Just off out to see if the Buff Boy is present and correct at AZDA.

See you later.
